For me making a portrait is an meditative act of passion and devotion that entails telling your story and painting your persona often with artistic expressions or with a journalistic authenticity. I create portraits that emote, evoke, and inspire thoughts and creativity. I call my work complete when each image tells your story without saying one word. The beauty I see in you, is the beauty I capture on my digital canvas.
My creative workflow begins by listening to your journey, your objectives, or simply the theme that you want to adopt, followed by curating the props, sets, make-up, and lights. Shooting happens either in my studio or outdoor. I often collaborate with other artists and models on narrative projects and documentaries. If you have an abstract idea in your mind, we can work together to bring it to life.
